The Rivne district court sentenced a resident of the village of Shpaniv to 15 years in prison for the murder of his ex-wife.
Prosecutors successfully proved in court that the man had beaten the woman with a hammer on the head, leading to her death at the scene of the crime. The accused partially admitted his guilt and is currently in custody.
