Private Landing Module «Odyssey» Headed for the Moon
For the first time in the space era, the private landing module «Odyssey» has been launched into space with the aim of a soft landing on the Moon. Created by Intuitive Machines, this spacecraft was launched on February 15 and is heading towards the Earth’s satellite with an ambitious mission.
The first photos of the module, taken shortly after separation from the Falcon 9 rocket of SpaceX, have already been published. If all goes according to plan, on February 22, «Odyssey» will become the first privately-landed landing module to successfully land on the Moon in history.
