RBC-Ukraine reports:
The police of Zhytomyr region and the Security Service of Ukraine in the region have refuted the information that appeared on some social networks and pages. Videos posted online showed the work of police officers in the city of Malyn.
Operational-Preventive Exercises:
Police, SBU employees, National Guard and military law enforcement officers in the city were conducting operational-preventive exercises as part of counter-sabotage measures.
No Participation:
«However, employees of territorial recruitment and social support centers did not participate in the mentioned events. Summons from the TTC involving police officers were not handed out,» the statement said.
Explanation from Security Service:
The Security Service of Ukraine explains that during counter-intelligence measures, restrictions on access and passage on streets, document checks, inspections of vehicles and public premises may be possible.
