The Russian Ministry of Defense captures village Ivanivske in Bakhmut district
The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced the capture of the village of Ivanivske (previously known as Krasne) in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region.
Discrepancy in reports
Ukrainian officials have not confirmed the loss of the settlement. Ukrainian serviceman Stanislav Bunyatov denies the loss of Ivanivske. Ukrainian military journalist and blogger Bohdan Myroshnykov writes that in Ivanivske «fierce battles are ongoing.» Our troops control part of the village and do not allow the enemy to bypass towards Stupochok.

Ivanivske is located on the road to Chasove Yar, towards which Russian forces are trying to advance.
