Unscrupulous Tenant Ordered to Bring Land in Kharkiv Worth 47 Million UAH into Suitable Condition
Law enforcement officers, through a court order, have required an unscrupulous tenant to bring a piece of land in Kharkiv, valued at over 47 million UAH, into a condition suitable for use.
According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the LLC has ownership rights to a non-residential building situated on Louis Pasteur Street, covering an area of approximately 2,000 square meters.
«In 2021, the LLC was granted a lease for nearly 6.5 hectares of land by the Kharkiv City Council, for the purpose of reconstructing the non-residential building and constructing a rehabilitation and prophylactic complex,» stated the prosecutor’s office.
Law enforcement officers filed a lawsuit to declare the lease agreement void and require the return of the land to the Kharkiv community.
«The land management documentation did not clearly specify the portion of the land plot intended for reconstruction, resulting in the LLC using a plot 47.9 times larger than the building itself,» added the prosecutor’s office.
An inspection revealed that part of the land was contaminated with construction waste, including concrete, asphalt, bricks, and slate.
Hence, the court has ruled in favor of the law enforcement officers’ demand for the tenant to restore the land to a usable condition.
