Ukrainian forces may have shot down two more Russian aircraft attacking the front line
This was reported by the commander of the Ukrainian Air Forces, Mykola Oleshchuk, in Telegram on Saturday, March 2.
«Just now there was a combat use of anti-aircraft guided missiles against two enemy aircraft Su-34 and Su-35. We are awaiting confirmation of the desired result,»
he wrote.
Oleshchuk noted that the enemy continues to attack on the eastern front using guided aerial bombs from tactical aviation aircraft
but it is becoming increasingly difficult for the Russians to fly.
«We need a larger system, more weapons, to clear our sky,»
added the commander.
Earlier on Saturday, partisans released a video of a downed Su-34 aircraft
which was destroyed the day before.
