The US Ambassador Condemns Russian Attack on Kharkiv
The US Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink, has expressed her opinion on the recent shelling by Russian occupiers in the Kharkiv region.
In a Twitter post, Brink emphasized that the strike on Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, resulted in the death of an 85-year-old woman. «For the second consecutive night, Russia is shelling peaceful areas of Kharkiv region to sow panic,» the ambassador wrote, expressing condolences to the families of all those killed «in this fearless region.»
Attacks by occupiers on Kharkiv region
Recently, Russia has been increasingly attacking Kharkiv and the region. For example, on the night of April 7, Russian occupiers dropped a bomb on a residential high-rise building in the city of Kupiansk, resulting in the death of a woman.
Also that night, there was a drone attack on Kharkiv itself. Today, during the day, there were missile strikes. In particular, four hits were recorded in the city, with one landing on a private residence. There are reports of injuries as a result of Russian strikes on one of the central districts of the city.
