Rescuers Save Lost Tourists in Lviv Region
Rescuers in the Lviv region recently saved a group of lost tourists near Mount Parashka, according to the State Emergency Service of Lviv.
On May 2 at 10:27 pm, rescuers were alerted that a group of tourists had gotten lost during a walk in the forested area of the Skole Beskids near the village of Korostiv in the Stryi district.
It was discovered that 5 young tourists from Kyiv, descending from Mount Parashka, had taken a little-known route and lost their way as evening fell.
The tourists managed to contact rescuers and provide GPS data of their location. A mountain search and rescue team from Slavske promptly located the tourists, guided them out of the forest, and safely delivered them to a secure location.
