25 Fountains to Be Launched in Kyiv in 2024
In 2024, it is planned to launch 25 fountains in Kyiv. The fountain season will start in the first half of May and will last until the end of September, as reported by the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).
Operating Locations
Holosiivskyi district: Ivan Fedorov Square.
Dniprovskyi district: «Peremoha» park, «Avrora» park.
Darnytskyi district: «Poznyaky» park, «Partyzanskoji Slavy» park.
Podilskyi district: Square No. 1 at Kontraktova Square (near the monument to Petro Sahaidachny), Square No. 2 at Kontraktova Square («Samson» fountain), Square at Shchekavytska Square, «Kurenivsky» park.
Obolonskyi district: Obolonska Square, 6, 2-D Volodymyra Ivasyuka Avenue («Sad kameniv» park).
Sviatoshynskyi district: «Sovky» park.
Shevchenkivskyi district: Taras Shevchenko Park (3 fountains), «Volodymyrska hirka» park (2 fountains), «Syretskyi» park, «Zolotovorotsky» square, «Munich» square, Ivan Kotliarevsky Square, square near the Opera House, Square No. 2 at Volodymyrske provulok, «Lytovsky» square, Mykola Makarenko Square.
Excluded Locations
The KCSA emphasized that fountain complexes in the center of Kyiv and on the Rusanivskyi Canal will not be operating this year. They will not be included in order to save energy, as these fountains require significant energy costs.
