Teenagers Beat Their Classmate in School
In one of the schools in the Dniprovsky district of the capital, teenagers beat their classmate. The city prosecutor’s office of Kyiv reported this incident.
The mother of the 13-year-old victim noticed injuries in the groin area of her son and turned to law enforcement. The boy later revealed that he had a conflict with students from other classes during the break.
Dmytro Lubinets, the Authorized Representative of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, mentioned that the victim studies in an inclusive form with a teacher’s assistant in the class. The teenager had previously been a victim of bullying, being humiliated and mocked.
The injured teenager is currently in the hospital under the care of doctors, as confirmed by the Kyiv police. A preliminary investigation is underway.
Dmytro Lubinets has requested the Dniprovsk Regional State Administration to conduct an official investigation into the performance of duties by teachers. He emphasized that responsibility for bullying lies not only with the perpetrators but also with those who conceal such cases.
