In the Belgorod Region of Russia, about 10 explosions heard, 2 dead
In the evening, approximately 10 explosions were heard in the Belgorod region of Russia. The local governor reported that shells hit residential buildings and shopping centers, resulting in the tragic deaths of two individuals.
Ukrainian Armed Forces Attack Villages
The village of Nova Tavolzhanka in the Shebekino urban district was attacked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine using a drone kamikaze. Fortunately, no civilians were injured, although the roof of a private residential house was damaged. In Oktyabrsky, agricultural buildings and cars were damaged, resulting in two fatalities and injuries to 10 others who were taken to hospitals in Belgorod for medical treatment. One injured woman has since been discharged home.
Damage Extends to Residential Areas
A private residential house caught fire from a direct shell hit, with firefighters working to extinguish the flames. Furthermore, 21 private houses suffered damages to windows, roofs, facades, and fences, along with broken windows in apartments in a multi-storey building. Several shopping centers and 23 cars were also damaged as a result of the explosions.
Kharkiv Hypermarket Attacked
In addition, in Kharkiv, two guided aviation bombs struck the building of the hypermarket «Epicenter,» leading to the deaths of two individuals and injuries to 24 others. The Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, reported a significant number of casualties, including injured and missing persons.
