Tragic Incident in Bozhedarivka Village
In the village of Bozhedarivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region, a horrifying incident occurred when a young man attacked an 86-year-old man and an 82-year-old woman, beating them and stealing their money. The crime took place right in front of a neighbor who witnessed the brutal attack.
The police reported that the criminal, who came from Dnipro, tragically beat the Bozhedarivka resident to death. However, thanks to the quick actions of an off-duty police officer, the criminal was promptly apprehended.
«Around 7:30 p.m., I was entering the local store when the saleswoman informed me about a suspicious person resembling the wanted individual. I acted swiftly, caught up to the criminal, and apprehended him,» said police officer Serhiy Povstyan.
The police have charged the man from Dnipro with a number of offenses under the Criminal Code of Ukraine, including intentional homicide and robbery.
