German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock announces 60 million euros in aid for Ukraine
German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has announced her country’s intention to allocate 60 million euros (approximately 2.6 billion UAH) in humanitarian aid for Ukraine. This information is reported by DW, citing the German news agency dpa.
Support for the residents of eastern Ukraine
According to the minister, these funds are intended for the residents of eastern regions of Ukraine, who often find themselves in difficult life situations due to the hostilities.
Call for international cooperation
«The situation in eastern Ukraine remains difficult: there is a lack of everything necessary. People have been suffering under Russian terrorist occupation for over two and a half years,» emphasized Annalena Baerbock. She also stressed the need for Ukraine to receive support at all levels, highlighting Germany’s cooperation with international partners to deliver humanitarian aid to the eastern regions.
