As of the beginning of 2024, nearly 500 Ukrainian entrepreneurs are registered in Latvia. Special business lunches have become an important aid in their development in a foreign country, reports «Ranok Vdoma».
Olga Shkurko, who moved to Riga due to the full-scale invasion, opened a Ukrainian cuisine restaurant. The restaurant has been successfully operating for over six months and has become popular among Ukrainians in Latvia who are seeking memories of their homeland.
Ukrainians in Latvia are also actively organizing their businesses, including beauty salons, hairdressing salons, cafes, and restaurants. Special meetings are organized in Riga to support such entrepreneurs, where various aspects of running a business are discussed, from legislative issues to work nuances.
