NATO preparing «land corridors» for relocation of troops in case of war with Russia
According to The Telegraph, NATO is working on creating several «land corridors» that will be used to relocate American troops and armored vehicles to the front line in the event of a major ground war with Russia.
Lieutenant General Oleksandr Solfank, head of NATO’s Main Department of Material-Technical Support, stated that ports in the Netherlands, Germany, and the Baltic countries are considered particularly vulnerable to Russian missile attacks.
Noting the insufficient air defense to cover the Alliance’s eastern flank, the general expressed concern about the capabilities to protect key material-technical centers.
«We see that Russia has attacked Ukrainian logistic bases, indicating a possible threat to our own bases in the event of a conflict. As for air defense — it has always been insufficient. It is quite difficult to imagine a situation where we will have enough air defense,» emphasized the military.
