The Ukrainian government extends project for document processing for Ukrainians abroad
The Ukrainian government has approved the extension of a project that allows the state enterprise «Document» to accept applications for document processing for Ukrainians abroad. The Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories announced this.
Project details
The project, initiated by the State Migration Service in 2022, provided services for processing passport documents for Ukrainians residing abroad. Given the social importance of the project in supporting citizens abroad, the work of the state enterprise «Document» has been extended for 6 months.
«Document» centers abroad
Currently, there are 13 «Document» centers operating in Poland, Germany, Spain, Turkey, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Italy, where one can order the production of a biometric passport or ID card. The centers operate on an electronic queue basis and are regulated by production capacities.
