Kitchen Fires Extinguished by Rescuers in Mykolaiv Region
On June 11, rescuers from the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region intervened to extinguish two kitchen fires: one in the village of Maryanivka on Central Street, and the other in the village of Hrushivka in the Pervomaisk district on Vaychykovykh Brothers Street.
In the first case, the area of the fire was 24 square meters. The fire did not spread to the adjacent residential building thanks to the prompt action of the rescuers. A tractor with a barrel from the local fire service of the state enterprise «Research Economy Agronomy» was used to transport water. The likely cause of both fires was a short circuit in the electrical network.
Additionally, on the same day, a fire of firewood on the territory of a private residence in the village of Vasilivka of the Berezanske territorial community of the Mykolaiv region was extinguished. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
