Hot Weather Leads to Increased Risk of Fires in Mykolaiv Region
Due to the hot weather in the Mykolaiv region, typical for the southern region, fires are more common, spreading rapidly through the wind to residential areas and infrastructure facilities, causing significant material damage. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of the Mykolaiv region.
Rescuers constantly emphasize the need to refrain from burning garbage and avoid actions that could contribute to fires in the conditions of intense heat and dryness.
According to data from June 18, firefighters have extinguished fires five times in the cities of Nova Odesa and Mykolaiv, as well as in the Pervomaisk and Bashtansky districts, with a total area exceeding 5.5 hectares.
