Volodymyr Ostapchuk clarifies his situation with military service
Ukrainian TV host and showman Volodymyr Ostapchuk recently commented on singer Viktor Baidi’s statement regarding his alleged deferment of military service thanks to a phone call.
«I was issued a summons to update data by representatives of the Shevchenkivskyi recruitment center. A few days later, I went, but I was redirected to the Podilskyi recruitment center based on my registration address,» Volodymyr explained.
He further explained that due to previously living in Canada, his procedure for passing the medical commission was somewhat different from that of other men.
«I tried to go through the registration, but due to long lines, I couldn’t get inside. I called the police to find out what to do next, as the registration deadline was approaching. They informed me that I needed to record the completion of the procedure at the Shevchenkivskyi center and then repeat it at the Podilskyi center. Currently, I am undergoing all the necessary procedures at the Podilskyi center,» the showman shared on social media.
