Dynamo midfielder Oleksandr Andriyevskyi on training camp during difficult times
Dynamo midfielder Oleksandr Andriyevskyi has spoken about the team’s training camp under the conditions of Kyiv being hit by rocket attacks, particularly condemning the attack on the children’s hospital «Okhmatdyt» on July 8.
«We all saw what happened in Kyiv. It’s very difficult psychologically to witness these events, but we are professionals and have to do our job,» the footballer noted.
Regarding the training sessions, Andriyevskyi emphasized: «In the first days of the camp, there was a lot of running work. We have already done a certain amount, but we need to improve our physical condition. Our coaches run more than us, so we try to catch up with them.»
He also shared his impressions of the first friendly match: «We played this game against the backdrop of heavy loads and understood that it would be tough from a functional point of view. But overall, everything is fine, the opponent was strong.»
The team’s plans include preparing for the match against Partizan on July 23:
«We are aiming for the Champions League and are preparing very seriously for this match. We understand that we have a difficult task ahead of us, but we are ready for it.»
