Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky plans to hold a series of meetings with the heads of Ukraine’s regions after his visit to the United States. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the president’s official Telegram channel.
«This week we had dozens of meetings: with the leaders of countries, government officials, congressmen, and public leaders of America, as well as with President Biden and Speaker Johnson,» Zelensky noted.
The president emphasized the importance of cooperation between Ukraine’s regions, as well as between communities and their leaders. «This includes areas such as medicine, shelter, defense industries, and more. The United States is ready to help at all these levels,» he added.
Zelensky visited the United States to participate in the NATO summit in Washington from July 9 to 11. During his visit, he met with the heads of American states at the National Governors Association meeting, where they discussed issues related to Russian aggression, strengthening defense capabilities, and regional cooperation.
