Russian shelling in Mykolaiv region: new incidents and casualties

Recent Attacks in Mykolaiv Region

On July 15, Russian forces carried out rocket and artillery attacks in the Mykolaiv region, fortunately without any civilian casualties.

According to the military administration of the region, a rocket attack occurred in the morning of July 15, causing an enemy missile to explode in the air. This resulted in a fire in dry grass in an open area, which was quickly extinguished by rescuers.

On the same day, the city of Ochakiv and the waters of the Ochakiv community, as well as the Kutsurub community, were targeted by the occupiers.

Prior to this, on July 14, Russian kamikaze drones attacked the Kutsurub community, sparking two fires in dry grass outside residential areas.

Artillery shelling on July 13 also hit the Kutsurub community and Ochakiv, causing damage to residential buildings, power lines, and the internet network.

In another incident on July 10, Ukrainian air defense systems successfully destroyed four «Shahed 131/136» drones, resulting in a fire due to falling debris.

Moreover, Russian army shelling on the night of July 10 caused a significant fire in Voznesensk, damaging residential buildings, shops, and a sports hall.

On July 9, an agricultural enterprise and two private cars suffered damage from an enemy ballistic missile strike, leading to two enterprise employees being hospitalized with moderate injuries.

Lastly, on July 8, the Mykolaiv region experienced continuous shelling from Russian forces, resulting in injuries to four individuals, including a young child.
