On Wednesday, May 22, in the village of Nova Vyizhva in Kovelsky district, a car collided with a minor cyclist. According to RegioNews and the press service of the National Police in Volyn region, a 10-year-old boy, who was riding out onto the road from a residential house yard, was taken to the intensive care unit.
The incident occurred at around 3:00 p.m., when an Audi car hit the child. As a result of the accident, the boy sustained serious injuries. Law enforcement authorities have launched a criminal investigation, and the investigation is ongoing. The man behind the wheel of the car was a 35-year-old resident of Stara Vyizhivka.
