Decrease in Flu and ARVI Cases in Kyiv
In Kyiv, there has been a noticeable decrease in flu and acute respiratory viral infections. Over the past week, 12,809 new cases were registered, which is 9.1% less than the previous week, according to the Kyiv City Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
4,656 adults and 8,153 children, including 4,659 schoolchildren, have fallen ill.
In the past week, 374 people were hospitalized with the flu and ARVI, including 284 children. 33 people, including 11 children, were hospitalized with COVID-19. There are 2 adult patients in the intensive care unit. A total of 121 people tested positive for COVID-19 during the week.
It is noted that the incidence rate is below the epidemic threshold by 45.6%.
