Experts from the European Space Agency (ESA) have released an animation created based on data collected by the Mars Express spacecraft.
It impressively demonstrates what a flight over the Nilosyrtis Mensae grabens on the Red Planet would look like.
The experts note that this unusual landscape was formed more than 3.5 billion years ago when there was significantly more water on Mars than there is now.
The animation also shows the crater Jezero, where the Perseverance rover is currently actively exploring.
