This morning, on July 2, a serious fire occurred on the Odessa — Kiev highway, near the village of Altestovo.
The fire on a freight truck could not be extinguished for over two hours. This information was reported by the Telegram channel «Odessa Life», citing eyewitnesses to the incident.
«The Kiev highway, in the Altestovo area, a truck has burned down. The fire lasted for over 2 hours,» the eyewitnesses said.
Currently, there is no information about any casualties or victims, as the State Emergency Service has not yet provided official information about the event.
Two lanes of traffic on the highway are partially blocked from the bridge to the city due to the aftermath of the fire.
However, due to the insufficient number of vehicles, traffic jams have not yet occurred.
