Delivery of humanitarian aid in Zhelanne
Delivery of humanitarian aid from the «White Angels» benefactors has started in Zhelanne, located in the Ocheretinskaya community. This was reported by the police of the Donetsk region.
In this front-line village, there are about 100 residents who are forced to survive thanks to humanitarian assistance. People spend the nights in the basement, including an elderly woman who moved to Zhelanne from Avdiivka at the beginning of the Russian aggression.
The police delivered food packages for each family — a total of 90 sets. The road to the village that they used to take before is completely riddled with enemy fire, so the crew chose a new route.
The group narrowly escaped being shelled — their delay due to a punctured tire saved them. It was at that moment that a Russian strike destroyed a private house. There are injured cats, who have suffered from shelling not for the first time.
