Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, stated on his page on X that provocations by Russia on the borders of the EU and NATO are part of its hybrid intimidation tactics. He noted that Ukraine has repeatedly faced such actions from Russia.
«The most effective way to counter these provocations is unity, strength, and unwavering mutual support. We express full solidarity with our Estonian, Finnish, and Lithuanian friends. We remain vigilant and ready to provide any necessary assistance in combating Russia’s hybrid threats,» the statement reads.
Kuleba also called on the defense Alliance to act more decisively to defend Estonia, Finland, and Lithuania.
