In Lviv, court rules on official guilty of self-appointment of bonuses
In Lviv, the court has ruled on the case of the official of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, Igor-Miroslav Podhanyuk, finding him guilty of self-appointment of bonuses totaling over 40,000 hryvnias. Podhanyuk, who held the position of deputy director and head of the pathomorphological department of the Lviv Regional State Laboratory, awarded himself bonuses of 11.5 thousand and 28.8 thousand hryvnias in April 2022 and September 2023 respectively. Podhanyuk admitted his guilt in court and asked the court not to impose harsh penalties on him. Taking these circumstances into account, the court fined him 3,400 hryvnias.
