Russian Forces Continue to Shell Border Villages in Sumy and Chernihiv Regions
Spokesperson of the Operational Command «North» Vadim Mysnyk reported on the program «We-Ukraine» that Russian occupying forces continue to shell border villages in Sumy and Chernihiv regions. He noted that the situation on the northern border of the country is generally under control. «The enemy is not concentrating in any specific direction, shelling villages along the entire border. However, there is a certain decrease in shelling over the course of the third week. For example, 24 shelling incidents were recorded in the last day,» explained Mysnyk.
He also noted that the Russians mainly use artillery of various calibers, as well as strike drones and FPV drones.
Russian Forces Attempt to Break Through Ukrainian Defense in Kharkiv
Earlier, the spokesperson of the Joint Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Northern Direction, Yuriy Povkh, reported that Russian occupying forces continue their attempts to break through the Ukrainian defense in Kharkiv region. Currently, battles in Kharkiv region are ongoing in the direction of Vovchansk and Staritsa.
