Police successfully apprehend thief after theft on Ivan Mazepa Street
Yesterday at 16:00, the patrol police received a report of theft of alcoholic beverages and food products from a store on Ivan Mazepa Street. A man openly took possession of the items and disappeared from the scene without paying for them.
The police quickly identified the landmarks of the perpetrator and began search operations in the city. Soon they found a suspicious person near a building on Ushynsky Street who matched the description.
Upon meeting with the police, the man became nervous and tried to avoid attention. After a quick check revealing he was 27 years old, the inspectors found the stolen goods on him. He admitted his involvement in the crime.
A forensic-operational group was called to the scene for further actions.
