Polish protesters plan to block three border crossings with Ukraine

Polish protesters are getting ready to block three border crossings with Ukraine once again. The checkpoints in question are «Krakovets», «Shehyni», and «Mostyska», as reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Details of the planned protests

Andriy Demchenko, a spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service, announced on a telethon and Telegram that Polish farmers are expected to start blocking traffic at these border crossings.

«According to information from Polish border guards, the protests are set to begin around 9 a.m. this morning. The blockade at Krakovets is anticipated to last for two days, while at Shehyni, it will continue until 9 a.m. the following day,» Demchenko explained.

Updates on the situation will be shared once the blockade is initiated.

Possible blockade at Medyka-Mostyska checkpoint

The State Customs Service also disclosed that the protesters might block the Medyka-Mostyska checkpoint.

«There are plans to completely halt the movement of cargo vehicles in both directions at the Medyka-Mostyska checkpoint today. The blockade is expected to last for one day initially, with the possibility of an extension,» the statement read.
