Changes in the rental cost of 1-bedroom apartments have occurred in Ukraine, with price increases and decreases varying across regions.
Rivne Region
From December 2023 to April 2024, the rental cost increased the most in Rivne region by 35.4%, reaching an average of 9,744 UAH.
Zakarpattia Region
The biggest decrease in rental cost was observed in Zakarpattia region by 7.5%, reaching an average of 11,772 UAH.
According to the State Statistics Service, rental prices for apartments changed within the range of 0.4% to 7.5%. Apart from Zakarpattia region, prices decreased in Kherson (by 4.3%) and Mykolaiv regions (by 0.4%). Price increases ranged from 0.8% to 35.4%.
In Kyiv, the rental cost of 1-bedroom apartments increased by 3%. Meanwhile, prices remained stable in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions.
The average rental price of 1-bedroom apartments in Ukraine ranges from 2,831 to 11,914 UAH. The cheapest rental was recorded in Kherson region (average of 2,831 UAH), while the most expensive was in Lviv region (average of 11,914 UAH).
