Scribe, developed with zero-access data in mind, does not analyze the contents of Proton Mail user mailboxes, ensuring complete privacy.

According to the company, Proton Scribe meets the demand from users for secure generative artificial intelligence tools, avoiding the storage or logging of email drafts. The tool, which has open-source code, is available for local deployment on compatible systems or on Proton servers without registration.

Access to Proton Scribe is free for Visionary and Lifetime subscribers, and Proton business plan users can try the tool for free for 14 days. After this period, the cost of use is $3 per user per month.
