The reconstruction of shelters in Donetsk region
The reconstruction of shelters continues in Donetsk region. This was reported by the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
Deputy Chairman’s Inspection
Deputy Chairman of the Regional State Administration Igor Boyko, together with the director of the Department of Investment and Innovation Development and External Relations Oksana Holovko, inspected the progress of emergency recovery and shelter reconstruction works.
Progress Update
In particular, Igor Boyko visited the facilities where roofs were being replaced on social welfare and educational buildings that were severely damaged as a result of shelling by Russian forces. He also inspected several recently renovated bomb shelters and simple shelters. Funding for their repairs is being provided through subsidies from the state budget, local community budgets, and these projects are supported by the UNICEF Children’s Fund.
Gratitude
The deputy head of the region thanked the partners for their continuous support and care for the residents of the region, and noted that work in this direction will continue in those communities where the security situation allows.
