Russian drones target infrastructure in Odessa region

Russia, as part of the second and third waves of drone attacks on southern Ukraine, struck the port infrastructure of the Odessa region.

Odessa region targeted by enemy drones

This was reported by the Armed Forces of the Southern Direction of Ukraine. According to the Naval Forces, the occupiers launched unmanned aerial vehicles of the «Shahed-131/136» type with intervals.

«The enemy attacked the Odessa region with three waves at intervals of one and a half, two and a half hours, using UAVs of the ‘Shahed-131/136’ type,» military officials clarified.

The defenders repelled the first attack (9 UAVs) by 100%. However, the debris from one of the UAVs damaged the technical facilities of the port infrastructure, leading to the injury of one of the enterprise’s employees.

Later, the enemy attacked the port infrastructure of Podunavya with drones, launching 12 UAVs.

«The enemy drones hit the port facilities, where 3 workers were injured,» military officials confirmed.

Civil infrastructure in Izmail also suffered. The strike damaged technical premises of industrial and service facilities. Drones also damaged the road and several cars. Windows were shattered, facades were damaged, roofs were affected in several residential buildings of Ukrainians.

«In the territory of the Izmail district, as a result of the attack, a private house and garage caught fire due to falling debris from a downed drone. Information about casualties has not been reported,» the department summed up.
