Scandalous Misappropriation of Funds in Odessa School Renovation

An investigation by the portal «Sledstvie.info» has uncovered a shocking scandal involving the renovation of school No. 39 in Odessa. Fedor Mitriev, the director of the company «TAKOM-GLORY YUG,» stands accused of misappropriating funds from the budget.

The company reportedly signed a contract for the school renovation in 2020, amounting to 28 million hryvnias. However, subsequent police inspections revealed various violations, including suspected forged documents and inflated work volume. As a result, 1.27 million hryvnias were illegally transferred to the company’s accounts.

Fedor Mitriev has been charged with fraud and forgery of documents, leading to the Primorsky District Court of Odessa placing him under house arrest until March 2024.

Moreover, «TAKOM-GLORY YUG» has also been implicated in other criminal cases, such as fraud related to the renovation of Lyceum No. 49 in Odessa. The company has secured state contracts totaling 134 million hryvnias since 2016.
