Sentenced to 8 years for assault on locals and robbery in Korosten

Local Resident of Korosten Found Guilty of Robbery and Bodily Harm

A local resident of Korosten was recently sentenced to 8 years in prison with property confiscation after being found guilty of inflicting moderate bodily harm and committing a robbery. The 41-year-old individual was accused of attacking local residents in February of this year.

The prosecution provided evidence that the resident threatened victims with a firearm and used his cane corso dog during the attacks. One incident occurred on a children’s playground late at night, where the perpetrator demanded a valuable gadget and keys to a residence. Fortunately, the victim managed to escape and seek help from neighbors.

Despite attempting to justify his actions by claiming to maintain public order, the convicted individual was sentenced in absentia following a trial where the prosecution presented a strong case against him.
