Former Dynamo Kyiv striker and current Pakhtakor coach Maksim Shatskih has expressed his opinion on Vladyslav Supriaha and his prospects at the club.
Shatskih believes that Supriaha has failed to make the most of his chances this season.
«He has been highly anticipated for many years, but he has not been able to realize his potential this season. He did not meet the coaches’ expectations and therefore did not get enough playing time,» Shatskih noted.
According to the Pakhtakor coach, a change of scenery could help Supriaha.
«Perhaps he should change teams to demonstrate his best qualities. He cannot show his potential at Dynamo, and perhaps a change of environment will help him develop,» Shatskih added.
Shatskih, who played for Dynamo from 1999 to 2009, has an impressive statistics: 328 matches, 141 goals, and 18 assists. His achievement in the Ukrainian championship, where he scored 124 goals, remains a record to this day.
Supriaha has played eight matches for Dynamo this season and provided two assists.
